QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- Hold an Oregon Teaching License through Teacher Standards & Practices Commission.
- Hold or be able to add an endorsement in Language Arts.
- Working knowledge of technology and computer literacy is preferred.
- Ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Professional educator with a passion for the content and an ability to inspire students
- Ability to actively engage all students in the learning process
- Experience with trauma informed and culturally/linguistically relevant practices
- Interest in supporting student development beyond the classroom (coach, mentor, club sponsor) is appreciated
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Estimated start date – August 23, 2024 (new staff orientation)
- 1.0 FTE – 190-day contract (191-day for new teachers)
- 2024/25 school year, base salary $44,595 – $80,544 depending on years of teaching experience and college credits as per the TEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
