Perform a variety of instructional duties while assisting children (ages 6-30 months) with their basic needs in a safe, enriching educational environment.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- The developmental needs of young children aged 6 weeks to 30 months
- Organizational skills necessary to balance the needs of the program including babies, parenting program students, staff, and parents
Ability to:
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to mentor and support Parenting Program students
- Ability to acquire First Aid/CPR and Food Handlers Card
- Ability to pass a Criminal/Fingerprint Background check (fee of $66)
ESTIMATED START DATE: August 23, 2024
WAGES:
- 2024/25 Salary Schedule currently in negotiations – (2023/24 pay scale $14.94 – $16.49/hr)
- Placement is dependent on years of experience and per the OSEA Agreement
